3. Booking process and contract

• —Bookings are made by completing the online form and proceeding to payment via the secure Stripe platform.
• —The tourist rental contract is finalised upon confirmation of the booking by the operator, following receipt of payment.
• —The operator reserves the right not to confirm a booking in case of apartment unavailability, technical issues or exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be processed.
• —Booking confirmation is sent by e-mail to the address provided by the guest within 24 hours of payment.
• —The guest is required to provide accurate and complete data at the time of booking. False or incomplete data may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

4. Prices and payments

• —Prices shown on the website are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
• —Full payment is required at the time of booking by credit or debit card through Stripe.
• —The operator does not store or have access to the guest's credit card data. Payment processing is delegated entirely to Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified operator.
• —In case of failed or declined payment, the booking will not be confirmed and the dates will remain available.

5. Cancellation policy and refunds

• —Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in: full refund of the amount paid.
• —Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before check-in: 50% refund of the amount paid.
• —Cancellation within 7 days of check-in or no-show: no refund.
• —To request a cancellation, the guest must send written notice to info@palazzettovicosanmarco.com. The date of receipt of the e-mail determines the applicable terms.
• —Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the same payment method used for the booking.
• —The operator reserves the right to evaluate exceptional requests (force majeure, documented health emergencies) on a case-by-case basis.

6. Check-in, check-out and use of apartments

• —Check-in: from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Different times must be agreed in advance by e-mail or phone.
• —Check-out: by 10:00 AM.
• —The apartments are intended exclusively for temporary tourist/residential use. Use for commercial activities, parties, events or gatherings without written authorisation from the operator is prohibited.
• —The maximum number of guests per apartment is indicated in the description. Hosting more persons than declared at the time of booking is prohibited.
• —Smoking inside the apartments is prohibited.
• —Pets are not allowed.
• —Security deposit: a security deposit of €200 is required at check-in, returned in full at check-out after inspection of the apartment's condition. The deposit may be requested in cash or as a pre-authorisation on a card.
• —The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the apartment or its contents during the stay. The cost of damages will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the responsible party for any excess.
